Riverfront Park. Montgomery, Alabama. Saturday, August 05, 2023. The racially-charged melee that occurred that day catapulted the ordinary, everyday folding chair, invented by African-American inventor Nathaniel Alexander, into a symbol of resistance and a community/nation in despair.

This 2023 limited edition release will be part of a new series we are calling 'Signs of the Times' - in the moment designs that reflect upon the ethos and soul of our nation and world and canvas them into single-run, limited edition collection pieces that are the epitome of Style & Statement.

Limited Run: The pre-order period will be Friday, August 18 through Monday, August 28. Contact us via email after the pre-order period.

Color Options: For the base garment you can choose Black, Charcoal, or Navy. Chili (Red) will be the accent color (elbow patches and back typography) and the front, left-chest 'chair' is gray/white. If you would like to discuss other base garment/accent color options (the chair must remain the color it is), please email us at info@soundoffdesign.com (an extra fee of $10 will be required for any other color modifications).

Single-Batch Production: We will produce the run based on the orders received. We typically receive finished knits within 2-3 weeks after production begins.

Fit: The crew pullovers are classic fit (they wear more like a classic sweater). Use the size chart below to order. If you happen to be in Chicago, you can schedule to come visit our studio to try-on for sizing.

Exchanges: As these are a limited edition single run, we cannot refund. We can discuss possibly resizing. 

Care: Turn inside out. Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low heat. Do not bleach. No dry clean. Iron low temp.

SOUNDOFF offers free standard shipping (2-7 days) within the United States for all orders that total $75.00 or more, standard shipping for orders that total less than $75 is $5.  Shipping fees for other locations or for expedited shipping will vary.  All order amounts referenced in our shipping policy exclude gift card purchase amounts, taxes and shipping.  

Shipping times exclude weekends and federal holidays and begin from the date the order is shipped. Orders, that do not include pre-order items, placed before 12 midnight (central) Sunday through Thursday will be typically be shipped the next business day (Monday to Friday). Orders placed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, will ship on Monday. Pre-order items will begin shipping on the date noted on the product page and your order confirmation email.

Please note that all shipping fees are non-refundable once the order has processed.

Shipping to APO / FPO / DPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, and other US territories.

Shipping to APO / FPO / DPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands and other US territories is only available via USPS First Class Mail.  Delivery times will vary but are expected to be 4-10 days.

International Shipping

SOUNDOFF ships worldwide at a flat rate of $30. Standard international shipping fees do not include taxes or duties and they may differ depending on your region. You will be responsible for all duties, taxes and customs charges. If your order is then refused, you will still be responsible for charges incurred in shipping the package.
